How Many Taxes Are There?

There are thousands of taxes by which the government takes the money of the citizens. But it is not just money, it is your time, your very life. We give our lives to earn a living and the government is ever-present, waiting to take as much of our money as it can. Here is just a sampling of the taxes and fees the government collects. In fact, the IRS actually publishes a list of taxes that are “deductible.” If you think this list covers most of the taxes we pay, just take a long look at your phone bill and see the various taxes assessed just for using the telephone.
